One good resource, is the the Yucatan Vacation Guide page. Here you’ll find lots of blog posts from YVG and other helpful Yucatan resources. Another is helpful Facebook page is Traveling The Riviera Maya, Mexico. Similar to the Yucatan Vacation Guide page, this resource offers a variety of blog posts, group discussions and articles about the resorts, towns and activities along the Yucatan coast.

The resources mentioned above are great in helping to get a more broad representation of the Riviera Maya. However, once you have selected a resort where you plan to stay, it is recommended to search the web and/or Facebook for a forum, group page or fan page dedicated to that specific resort. These forum and group sites offer a running discussion about the resort selected as well as questions and answers from those currently staying at the resort or have been to the resort. Many of those who post on these sites are repeat guest and offer a lot of helpful information and tips about staying there.
